Projects and Love

we are getting hitched in 6 days. i am sort of relaxed and sort of not. i love scott more than i ever have in my life and i have literally been amazed with him hourly. he is a great, great man. i feel very lucky and proud.

here is what he has been doing all morning, he is very serious and intense and actually, a great brander. our home smells of cedar and it is heaven...

on the to do list at this point- tables, table seating cards, music, booz, my groom needs socks and shoelaces, and i need to buy seeds and...

also, i have been watching too much rachel zoe project and i find myself talking like her. not good.

bubbles

i not only love to drink bubbles. i love to sit in them too. when he and i first met, we would "meet in the middle" and have a rendezvous in hotel bathtubs. and then we would also go to dinner and talk and other things. i dont mean to sound like a floozy.

he used to pack bubble bath into his carry on. i want this to be me and him. heaven.

It is 23 days until our wedding. Yikes.

I still have lots of fun ideas that I dont want to forget.

I want to make a couple of banners. One that says "We're better together", one that says "Just Married", one that says "Mr" and one that says "Mrs" for our chairs, and one that says "Love is so sweet". Dont forget!

I want my hair to be this color: found using GOOGLE.

I also need a sign that says "Elysia + Scott= heart" for the outside of the gate at Point 16. Found here.

Our wedding venue was featured on tons of wedding blogs today! I am excited and mortified all at once. I want it to be a surprise for everyone... but I am also so glad that there is another Big Sur wedding out there in the blog world. It is fun to look at the pics and superimpose my wedding into them! Um, so like 15 minutes ago I mentioned allowing people to help you, and asking for it, and how one family in particular is becoming my favorites. Well, here, for example.

I asked if I could please maybe have a piece of wood for the cake stand. You know, figuring I would be so stoked if they just let me have a tiny little round... And here is what they send me.

I STILL have to pick my mouth off of the floor when I look at it. Even my hubby got all giddy when he saw it. I LOVE WOOD (thats what she said).

Oh, and if you are wondering if they added little cake toppers so I could get a feel. Yes, they did. They are the best! Thank you John and Kathy and Amy and Annie and Chris! We really love you guys so much! You are making our day SO SO special!
